Originating from the bustling streets of South Africa’s townships, the Kota, also known as a Spatlo, has long captured the hearts and taste buds of locals. Crafted from a hollowed-out quarter loaf of bread and filled with an array of mouth-watering ingredients, each Kota is a culinary masterpiece, a testament to ingenuity and creativity.

Despite its widespread popularity, the Kota remained largely confined to the informal market, hidden from the mainstream culinary spotlight. Recognizing its untapped potential, Mr. Leluma embarked on a mission to bring the Kota to the forefront of South Africa’s fast-food landscape.

Guided by the principles of authenticity, quality, and affordability, Kota Spot promises to revolutionize the fast-food industry with its modern twist on the classic Kota experience. From traditional favourites to innovative creations, Kota Spot invites customers on a flavourful journey that celebrates the rich tapestry of South African cuisine.
